large as this longing

A couple days ago I took the opportunity to get away.  It was only about 24 hours, but my time in this little cabin in the woods brought me to a place where I was able to listen…a discipline that I do not do often enough.  Here are some thoughts that jumped out at me while reading:

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”  Ecclesiastes 3:11
